Trump’s Amazing Cabinet Picks!

Welcome to Trump 2.0!

Trump has been moving quickly announcing his picks to occupy the top spots. It’s very clear that unlike Trump 1.0 in 2016 who was willing to “play ball” with the neocons and the administrative state, only to be backstabbed by them; Trump 2.0 is coming in guns’a’blazin.

Let’s start with some big ones not requiring any senate confirmation.

Susan Wiles - Chief of Staff

Belying those who said Trump somehow “discriminates against women” despite a long track record of giving competent women top spots throughout his career, he chose his campaign manager, Susie Wiles to be his Chief of Staff. Susie ran a flawless, super well organized and well-coordinated campaign and is universally hailed. A bit of a surprise pick, but obvious in retrospect.

She’s the daughter of Pat Summerall, a former football player and sportscaster, and is a longtime political inside player.

Thomas Homan - Border Czar

In a big FU to Kamala, who was given the title “Border Czar” by Biden, Tom Homan will play that role effectively in Trump’s administration.

Homan began his career as a police officer in New York, then joined the U.S. Border Patrol in 1984. Over the years, he progressed through various roles within immigration enforcement, including as a special agent with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and later with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). He served as the Acting Director of ICE under the first Trump administration. More recently he’s been a frequent contributor on Fox News and a big critic of the Biden administration’s failures with illegal immigration. There’s some GREAT clips of him eviscerating democrats (especially AOC) during hearings 😂.

Trump said Homan would be in charge of the nation's borders, including the southern and northern borders, maritime, and aviation security. Homan would also be responsible for overseeing the deportation of illegal aliens back to their countries of origin.

Homan is a tough bastard who will get the job done.

He said his first priority would be to establish control of the borders and stem the tide of illegals. Next he will prioritize deporting illegals who have committed crimes, and then illegals who have received a court order to be deported. That will likely keep him busy the entire term.

It looks like he’ll somehow coordinate and oversee various departments to get the job done.

This pick signals Trump is absolutely serious about illegal immigration.

Michael Waltz - National Security Advisor

This was a bit of a controversial pick amongst Trump supporters, with many fearing he may be a neocon Warhawk. He is toughest on China and Iran, very pro Israel, and seems to be against further US involvement in Ukraine, which aligns with Trump.

He was just elected to his third term in the house from Florida. He was a special forces Green Beret and served in many tours overseas.

The Nat Sec Advisor (NSA) is a very powerful position. He serves as a principal advisor to the President on national security issues, which includes defense, foreign policy, intelligence, and homeland security. The NSA provides the President with analysis, insights, and recommendations to help shape U.S. policy.

The NSA plays a crucial role in coordinating national security policy across various government agencies. This involves chairing the National Security Council (NSC) or being a key participant in its meetings; Working with other high-level officials like the Secretaries of State, Defense, and Homeland Security to ensure that policies are consistent and effectively implemented; Overseeing the development of national security strategies, which might include counter-terrorism efforts, cyber security policies, nuclear strategy, and responses to global threats.

The NSA often briefs the President on intelligence matters, providing daily or regular updates on global situations, threats, and opportunities. This role involves interpreting intelligence provided by agencies like the CIA, NSA, and DIA. During national or international crises, the NSA is involved in real-time decision-making, helping to manage the crisis by providing options, coordinating inter-agency responses, and advising on diplomatic, military, or economic responses.

Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy - co-leaders of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)

These two need no introduction. Elon is the richest man alive and created many companies including Zip2, PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla, OpenAI, Neuralink, Boring Company, Xai, and he bought Twitter, cutting the staff by 80%, making it better and preserving free speech for the world. Vivek is an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical space and made a run for president for 2024.

Together they will lead an organization that will make recommendations to dramatically reduce the size of government and eliminate redundant agencies and regulations that hamper growth and investment.

This will be VERY significant and has the permanent bureaucratic state running scared (it’s why Washington DC voted 95% against Trump 😂).

Moving on to the appointments requiring senate confirmation…

Marco Rubio - Secretary of State

Another pick that did not find favour amongst Trump supporters. He’s suspected of being a neocon deep stater. Many of the same concerns as with Michael Waltz.

He’s a senator from Florida currently.

Matt Gaetz - Attorney General

This is the pick that has lit everybody’s hair on fire.

Gaetz is a Florida congressman who has been the most outspoken critic of the weaponization of the judicial system under Biden.

The deep state went after him in various ways with allegations that have proven to have been completely bogus.

If Gaetz gets in, expect fireworks with many firings of disloyal deep staters and prosecutions of Democrats who have used illegal means to target Republicans.

It’s unlikely he will be confirmed in the Senate as he has many enemies in Congress, but Trump is serious about this pick and with the cooperation of the House he can force a Senate recess and make a recess appointment of Gaetz if pushed to it.

Pete Hegseth - Secretary of Defense

This one is setting the deep state’s military industrial complex’s hair on fire.

Hegseth is a total hunk! 🤩 🥵😍

He served in the Army National Guard with deployments to Guantanamo Bay, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He has been awarded two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman Badge for his service. He joined Fox News in 2014 as a contributor and has since become a prominent conservative commentator co-hosting "Fox & Friends Weekend" from 2017 until now. He’s been especially known for his outspoken views, particularly against what he describes as "woke" policies in the military.

He’s a very smart guy. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in politics in 2003 and later obtained a Master of Public Policy from Harvard. He’s authored several books, including "The War on Warriors"

Amazon link

The top Political generals are all shitting themselves, as are the profiteering war companies who provide outdated equipment at ridiculous prices.

The deep state will stop at nothing to smear this guy.

Amazing pick.

Kristi Noem - Director of Homeland Security

Kristi was the very successful conservative governor of South Dakota, resisting lockdowns, trans nonsense, and giving tax cuts. She was also in the State legislature and in Congress.

DHS was established in response to the September 11 attacks. Its primary roles include protecting the U.S. from threats, securing borders, administering immigration laws, enhancing cybersecurity, and responding to natural and human-made disasters. It comprises Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Coast Guard (USCG), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Secret Service, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). With over 240,000 employees, it's one of the largest federal departments.

John Ratcliffe - CIA Director

Ratcliffe was A Congressman from Texas from 2015 to 2020. During his time in Congress, he was recognized for his conservative views and was active on several committees including the House Intelligence Committee and the Judiciary Committee.

Trump appointed Ratcliffe as the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) from May 2020 until January 2021. Ratcliffe has been a staunch defender of Trump, particularly during the investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election and during Trump's impeachment proceedings.

Tulsi Gabbard - Director of National Intelligence

Another pick that has set the neocons and the military-industrial complex’s hair on fire.

Tulsi is very hot!

Tulsi is a Hindu-American born in American Samoa in 1981. She joined the Hawaii Army National Guard in 2003 and has served for over two decades, including deployments to Iraq and Kuwait, and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.

She served as the U.S. Representative for Hawaii's 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021 as a Democrat. She ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 but ended her campaign in March 2020. In the process she absolutely obliterated Kamala during a debate.

Officer, I’d like to report a murder…

She’s known for her criticism of U.S. military interventions abroad, she has taken a stance against what she calls the "neoliberal/neoconservative war machine." She left the Democratic Party in 2022 to become an independent, citing ideological shifts within the party, and later joined the Republican Party in October 2024.

Because of her anti-war stance in the Democratic party she ran afoul of noted war monger Hillary Clinton who tried to (hilariously) smear her as a “Russian asset”. As an example of the deep state weaponization of government, Tusli was secretly put on a sort of “no fly” list by the Biden admin despite being a former congresswoman and active Lt. Col in the Reserve. It will be ironic that as DNI she will be the boss of the people who put her on the list 😂.

The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in the United States is the head of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The DNI serves as the principal intelligence advisor to the President of the United States, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council on intelligence matters related to national security. The DNI oversees and directs the implementation of the National Intelligence Program, which includes 17 agencies and organizations that make up the Intelligence Community. The DNI has the authority to manage the national intelligence budget, determine the allocation of resources, and establish priorities for collection, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence. The DNI provides oversight to ensure that intelligence activities adhere to laws, regulations, and executive orders, and that they respect civil liberties and privacy.

Beautiful!

Lee Zeldin - Director of the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA)

Lee Zeldin represented New York's 1st congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Republican from 2015 to 2023. Before that, he served in the New York State Senate from 2011 to 2014. He previously served in the U.S. Army, including a deployment to Iraq, and continues to serve in the Army Reserve with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He ran for Governor of New York in 2022 but lost a surprisingly close race to incumbent Kathy Hochul. His gubernatorial campaign was notable for focusing heavily on issues like crime and economic recovery.

Zeldin has expressed views against certain environmental regulations, supported pro-Israel policies, and has been a vocal critic of overreaching federal government actions.

The EPA is responsible for creating and enforcing regulation to keep the air and water clean.

Lots of critics including Zeldin have said they’ve gone off the deep end, designating even puddles as “protected water”.

Zeldin is a climate skeptic and a supporter of US energy independence.

Good pick.

Elise Stefanik - UN Ambassador

Elise serves as the U.S. Representative for New York's 21st Congressional District as a Republican. After graduating Harvard, she was first elected to Congress in 2014, at the age of 30, making her the youngest woman ever elected to the U.S. House at that time. She represents a district that includes most of the North Country, the Adirondack Mountains, some suburbs of Utica, and part of the Capital District. She serves as the chair of the House Republican Conference, making her the fourth-ranking House Republican.

She’s blazingly effective in the committee room. She was the one who eviscerated the three University Presidents for their refusal to condemn the anti-Israeli protests on their campuses, causing their removal. She strongly opposed Trump's first impeachment and supported his efforts to challenge the 2020 election results.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - Director of Health and Human Services (HHS)

Another one that has the deep state and Big Food and Big Pharma lighting their heads on fire.

He’s the son of assassinated presidential candidate Robert Kennedy and nephew of assassinated president John F Kennedy.

He had a colourful early life, addicted to fast cars, fast women, and drugs.

He eventually sobered up, graduated Harvard then Virginia law school and worked as an environmental lawyer bringing major class action suits against giant corporations.

  • He is perhaps best known for his work with Riverkeeper, where he helped lead the legal battles to clean up the Hudson River. His efforts included lawsuits against polluters, especially targeting General Electric for the contamination of the river with PCBs, leading to one of the largest Superfund cleanups in U.S. history.
  • He’s also been involved in efforts against Monsanto, particularly regarding their herbicide Roundup. His role has been more in the public advocacy and criticism of glyphosate, but his association with law firms like Morgan & Morgan, which took on Monsanto, underscores his indirect involvement in these cases where Monsanto paid out billions in settlements due to claims that Roundup causes cancer.
  • He was part of the legal team that brought actions against DuPont for the contamination caused by PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid), which was the basis for the movie "Dark Waters." His involvement highlighted the environmental and health impacts of chemical pollution.
  • He has sued the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) more than any other attorney. These lawsuits often revolved around enforcement of environmental regulations, challenging the EPA's inaction or inadequate action against pollution.
  • He legally challenged the use of thimerosal, a mercury-containing preservative used in some vaccines, leading to its removal from most childhood vaccines over safety concerns.
  • In 1991, he represented the NAACP in a lawsuit against the construction of a garbage transfer station in Harlem, New York, highlighting issues of environmental racism and justice.
  • Throughout his career, he’s engaged in numerous other environmental lawsuits, from protecting endangered species to challenging various forms of pollution, often representing grassroots organizations and indigenous groups against corporate and government entities.

A Democrat all his life, he initially wanted to run for President as a Democrat, but the Democrat machine shut him out completely to undemocratically favour Biden. As a result he was pushed into running as an independent. His three big issues are

  1. Free speech
  2. Ending the forever wars
  3. Health of children

When he found he aligned much more on those three issues with Trump, he joined forces and threw his support to him.

Here is his speech announcing that:

He’s been mischaracterized as a “conspiracy theorist” ever since he turned against Big Pharma.

There is a claim his is “anti-vax” which is untrue. He is entirely vaccinated himself, and so are all his children. He is concerned that vaccines are huge profit centers for Big Pharma and that the number of recommended childhood vaccines has risen dramatically over the years from 5 doses in 1962 to about 80 doses now.

In 1986, Reagan passed a law that gave immunity to drug companies against vaccine injuries. Plus the requirements for testing vaccines are lower than for other drugs.

All vaccines contain preservatives and adjuvants. Vaccine adjuvants are substances added to vaccines to enhance the immune response to the antigens they contain. Adjuvants stimulate the immune system to respond more vigorously to the vaccine, improving its effectiveness. They often work by creating a local inflammatory reaction at the injection site, attracting immune cells and increasing antigen presentation. In short, they are a mild sort of poison. The effects of giving 80 doses of vaccines, all containing various adjuvants and preservatives, to children, some in very short order, has not been systemically studied. However there is an increase in chronic disease, including autism, that coincides with the massive increase in the childhood vaccination schedule. RFKJr believes that this should be studied. He also believes drug companies should not be given immunity and that vaccines should be as well tested as any other drugs. He believes that given the lack of good science on vaccines, parents should be given the right to choose.

RFKJr is also very concerned about the healthiness of the food supply. America especially has dramatically risen levels of chronic disease, including autism a massive obesity problem linked to hyper-processed foods. He wants to study this and make recommendations.

He is extremely critical of the revolving door between Big Food, Big Agra, Big Pharma, and the agencies that are supposed to regulate them. As a result of all of the above, he is one of the most heavily censored people on the planet.

If all you’ve ever heard are second hand reports or out of context clips, you owe it to yourself to sit down and listen to what he has to say. A good place to start is his Joe Rogan appearance where Joe admits he assumed he was crazy and his mind completely changed as a result of talking to him.

An AMAZING pick showing how big the Trump tent is.

I’ll end it there, there are a few minor picks I did not cover and likely more to come before you read this.

I will caution you that the establishment will do everything possible to smear and slander these picks as Trump is out to demolish the cozy cabal the establishment have setup. Don’t listen to the noise. Go to the source. Find a podcast where the person in question lays out their views and make up your own mind.

    5. I’ve been reading Herbert Hoover’s book. Interesting perspective. He thought Britain and US should have stayed out of it and let Hitler and Stalin fight it out, with Poland being a casualty of war. As it was, the USSR won world war 2, grabbing more territory than anybody, and unjustly killing more, more horribly, than the Nazis ever did. Go figure.

      Delete
    6. Not just Poland. If US and GB stayed out all of Europe would’ve fallen to either Nazis or Stalin (probably Nazis) creating a massive German or communist superpower. This was the plot for a great TV series The man in the High Castle.

    7. An interesting question might be whether Germany would actually have invaded Russia at all, if the US had stayed out of WW2 altogether. With no US support for the UK and other Allied countries, I suspect Germany would have won its war in the west. And without the need to compete with US war materials, the pressure on the German economy and the need for raw materials like oil, would have been significantly less.
      But who knows.

      Delete
    8. Hitler was a fervent, radical, anti-communist. His target was always Stalin. He admired the West. He would have preferred to get his lebensraum by going East (after the Germanic peoples to his West were re-incorporated). It’s pure speculation if he would have attacked West after winning Russia. More likely the western powers would have bolstered whichever side was losing and exhausted them both, as was Hoover’s desire.

    9. "What if" scenarios like "what if the US never got involved in WW2 in Europe" are obviously a lot of conjecture and assumptions, and a lot of things could have turned out differently, if other decisions had been made during the war. However Julie, I'm having a bit of trouble following the below part of your last comment.

"It’s pure speculation if he would have attacked West after winning Russia."

Germany first invades Czechoslovakia in March '39. Then Poland in September '39. Are you arguing that if England and France hadn't declared war on Germany two days after the invasion of Poland, Germany would have invaded Russia, rather than having a war with Germany & France? Or what is the argument?

Just so we are clear on what we are discussing, I'm questioning what would have happened, if history go as it did, up until the US indirectly gets involved via the lend/lease agreement, which saw the US provide all sorts of supplies to England and other allied countries. So in that scenario Germany still invades Czechoslovakia and Poland first, and then get into a war with France & England.
At the point of Dunkirk, I'd argue that Germany has effective control of Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia, and Poland. And England is pushed off the continent, and back to their island. My argument is that without US aid, England is not in a position to defeat Germany thereafter. Germany is not in a good position to invade the British Isles, so ultimately I'd argue that the two end up signing a peace deal.

Now, you can argue that once Hitler is no longer engaged in a war in the west, he's free to invade Russia. And the question then becomes whether or not that happens. I suspect that will depend on Hitler's goals for "lebensraum", and the state of the German army at that point. But given how much aid the US gave to Russia, the question will be if Russia can actually defeat Germany (assuming no obvious military incompetence on part of the Germans)?

      Delete
    10. Hitler was obsessed with getting back the lands taken from Germany after WW1, or more, the greater German Empire of his imagination which encompassed all the Germanic peoples, including those is the Austrian-Hungarian empire. That was his goal westward. Hence Austria, parts of Poland, Czechoslovakia, and likely Hungary as well (that put off picking a side for a long time, but had a lot of antisemitic pro-Hitler support).

His goal eastward was defeating communism, that he also closely associated with Jews, and would give him the lebensraum for expansion.

Hitler admired the British and feared any conflict with America. Everyone hates the French ;-)

The West could have been much more strategic by playing off the two evil dictators against one another rather than allying themselves with, arguably, the worst dictator.

  6. With all due respect to Musk's business career at Paypal and the other firms, he didn't start Tesla, he invested in it early on and had himself included as a founder retroactively. I'm a scaleup CTO and lots of former founder-turned VC guys want to do this to rapidly scaling companies. It is like buying a diploma online.

WRT the budget, Musk certainly has creative ideas, but I think the chance of him turning government departments into another Twitter/X disaster are at least 50%.

I don't know Ramaswamy, but he might prevent Musk from doing anything reckless.

    1. Does not pass the sniff test. Tesla was nothing when he got involved. The growth is 99.9% him. He himself has said it many times, the genius is not in designing an electric car, it’s in being able to scale up manufacturing cost effectively.

Twitter/X “disaster”? What disaster? The only reason it started losing money was BS Uniparty-inspired pressure on advertisers. That has now turned a 180d, and with the vastly reduced cost base, we’ll see it was the smartest investment ever. And it saved free speech. And it’s working better than ever. And community notes. And umpteen new features.

  9. The ODNI is more important than you think. I won't take credit for discovering this on my own, but the original purpose of the ODNI was to gather intelligence from ALL the various intelligence agencies in the US govt and bring this information all together and present it to the President in his or her Daily Briefing. The ODNI is second only to the President in terms of having access to intelligence, if the Director of the ODNI wants something from the CIA , the CIA Chief is supposed to say "Yes Sir" and give it to him. Same with EVERY OTHER INTELLIGENCE AGENCY in the US Government. The big reason for this was to prevent another 9/11. The idea is the ODNI is intelligence coordinator from FBI (Homeland) to CIA(overseas) to make sure all information can be assembled in one spot and looked over rather than 'silo'd' in the various agencies and possibly not make it to the Executive on time. However there are other uses of this role that can be used to help fight a 'deep state' at least in the Intelligence Agencies. For one, info from the NSA, CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, etc can be compared and contrasted. There's an issue if , for instance, the CIA and FBI have conflicting information about a given subject. Another reason this intelligence gathering is important against the Deep State is it helps prevent shenanigans. It's a crime, for instance, for the CIA or FBI to hide evidence from the ODNI. Clapper the former Director for the longest time NEVER USED THOSE POWERS. Also when the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has to vote to approve a Presidential appointment, and the SSCI is often considered the "heart of the swamp" you can see why the ODNI has been neuteured. Trump can undo that, but he needs someone trustworthy in that position and he might have to make a recess appointment.

  10. Matt Gaetz
"The deep state went after him in various ways with allegations that have proven to have been completely bogus."

His pick is pure protection of a crony. Gaetz was days from having the House Ethics Committee report getting votes for release when he got the pick and immediately resigned his seat in the house. He did that so the report wouldn't get released and so he can act as an AG that is 100% in Trumps pocket. He didn’t have to resign for the pick. Replacements won’t happen for months still. He only did so to edge out the deadline of the report. It isn't the "deep state" going after him. it is literally regular old accountability coming after him for his very concerning history. He, at 40, paid for sex with a 17-year-old. That isn't really in question, that had direct witnessed and testimony supporting it. His friend is already in jail for sex trafficking and that is why there was an ethics. It is uncertain if he was directly involved with that sex trafficking. The question was only if it crossed the line between being a scumbag to being a criminal.

    Pete Hegseth
“The deep state will stop at nothing to smear this guy.”

He is purely unqualified for the position. His actual experience in the military stopped at Major. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with not climbing the ranks but it doesn’t qualify you to run the entire organization. It is like a night shift manager at Duncan donuts getting put into the role of CTO.
He also has some allegations against him about him being a “Insider Threat” by his fellow service men. The allegations are ambiguous and not anything substantive. Mainly tattoos that also have a significance in white supremacists’ circles (the absolutely do, that part also not in question) but there is the charitable interpretation of them that he just likes the aesthetic of crusades and holy wars. The bigger thing there though it that his fellow service men also saw him as concerning.
So, in the military he doesn’t have the experience or the respect and trust of the peers at his own level.
However, he is a talking head on fox, that is why Trump likes him. He is the man in the box telling him the things he wants to hear and that makes him the right pick for Trump and his supporters.

This is the trend on the majority of the picks. People who aren’t qualified, but are either sycophants, true believers, or people who trump believe he has leverage over.

When you spend a decade hedging, making excuses, mischaracterizing, and ignoring issues is can become easy to become numb to them and just assume that everything is fake. Why would these accusations be true when you already convinced yourself that the last ones weren't true earlier? but the hing is being numb to is and being bored of it doesn't make things not true.

-David. Thank you for being the example that I have come to expect from the right. Prioritization on ignorance and cruelty.

    4. I’m bored because the vast majority of these accusations turn out to be smear jobs. As I wrote below,

One would think, by now, we should all have an understanding of the dirty tricks campaigns launched by the deep state against its enemies. I no longer believe anything that originates from them when it benefits them (as keeping Gaetz out of AG clearly would). They do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. Not in the least. If Gaetz has done something illegal, charge him and let’s see the proof adjudicated via the courts. Otherwise, nope.

    5. The " deep state" as you keep using it isn't a real thing. There isn't a shadowy cabal really behind off the actions of the government. Real people have real criticisms. Rules, norms, and bureaucracy act as safeties to wild and ignorant actions from hurting others. Checks and balances exist between parts of the government.

The vast majority of the accusations have not turned out to be false. Using one of this biggest ones that the right have been using as their “Proof” that people are just out to get Trump and it is all false with the Mueller report. The right stands that because Trump isn’t in jail because of it that everything in it was false and he is completely exonerated. Barr himself didn’t say that trump was completely exonerated but only that it didn’t constitute “criminal coordination between Moscow and the Trump campaign”. What did it do though? Indicted 34 people were indicted, with eight of those having pleaded guilty to or been convicted of felonies, five of them being Trump associates and campaign officials. There were legitimate problems that proven factually true in a court of law, just not to the height of charging Trump himself.

But because trump tweets “No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!” and then for the right none of that matters. That is what the right has been constantly doing. “Is the person convicted and sentenced to jail time yet? No then they are complete angels and patriots and it is actually YOU who is at fault here.” There is no nuance of consideration beyond binary positions.

With things like nominations to powerful political positions that really fucking matters. We used to have issues with appointments on things like unpaid taxes and the nanny that they employ. But not fucking anything goes outside of being currently incarcerated but honestly that might even be too high of a bar because I don’t see the right changing their mind with that either and just simply continuing the constant victim and persecution complex that they live under.

    6. “Deep State” is a term to refer to the entrenched corporate / bureaucratic interests. It’s very real.

The power of the Feds is almost insurmountable. They can get you in practically anything, and even if you’re eventually exonerated in an appeals court, the process is the punishment. This was the case with Mike Flynn. Read up on it.

  11. Gaetz 100% resigned so the ethics committee report didn’t come out as the House ethics committee now has no jurisdiction over Gaetz, who is now a private citizen. There are several other House members named as Trump’s pick for cabinet level appointments that have not resigned their position in the House, because none of these projected appointments are in place yet.

The Dunkin Donuts analogy used earlier is apt, except it understates the profound gap in qualifications required. Dunkin’ makes donuts and franchises out locations across the country, but they don’t have a ~900 billion annual budget and 2 million employees and are not the most lethal fighting force in the history of the world. You don’t hire a night manager to run the company, just as you don’t hire a captain to run the DoD. Zero executive experience other than running a platoon and (checks notes)… a short lived political action committee in favor of astroturf (?!)
Sure he went to Harvard and Princeton and served admirably. He’s probably a great guy. (Checks notes again) oh wait… he’s not. On his 3rd wife in his 30s, knocked up a subordinate, sexual assault allegation settled with a payment and NDA. Geez this alone in any normal new administration would be a huge news story.

Tulsi is hot. She’s also a mouthpiece of Putin, and visited Assad without informing authorities shortly after he used chemical weapons in his own people and defended him over and over. There’s a reason she was in the no fly list. This one is the most concerning to me.

Anyone remember when a cabinet appointment wasn’t confirmed because she… hadn’t paid taxes on her nanny? LOL

    1. I quoted the actual reason given, as I think it’s important to hear directly from the protagonists. And given the number of congresspeople pulled by Trump, they need a seat ASAP to maintain the majority (but they don’t need them all). But I don’t disagree that another motive may well have been to derail the no-doubt phonied up “ethics report”.

You know very well it’s the unelected civil servants / generals that run these things and need to be the expert managers. The politicians provide the people’s oversight as directed by the President.

Did you look into the sexual assault allegation? She was the instigator. But it’s typical Democrat playbook to lend credence to whatever BS allegations, selective and unproven, are convenient. People like you display their moral bankruptcy in this way, and the electorate is sick of it and immune to it. Get a new grift.

    2. Really?! I’m not morally bankrupt, rather just being honest. I’m not a scold either- heck we all have our sexual proclivities- I read a spanking blog. If Gaetz wants to do blow and fuck young girls, and brag about it to his colleagues on the House floor, and show them pics and videos, so long as it’s consensual, go for it!
My point about Gaetz was just the timing of his resignation that was calculating. I’ve been a Republican for decades, by the way. I don’t have a problem with several of Trumps announced soon to be nominees, and wouldn’t have had a problem with RFK Jr had he been put over the EPA. But not a fan of Gaetz for holding the Republican Party hostage multiple times regarding the speaker.

Yes, according to Regseth’s atty she was the instigator. But we won’t hear from her because she’s under an NDA. I question the judgment of a man who knocked up his subordinate and is on his third wife in his 30s plus had someone go to the police with an allegation of SA, to provide any sort of people’s oversight. That’s not normal.

I’m not going to get into the grift comment. I’m making no $ from an anonymous internet blog comment LOL. But these 3/4 picks are Trump, like you in your political posts, just trolling in search of outrage. With these, the outrage is justified.

  12. Gaetz has withdrawn from consideration.

    1. Yes. I’ll bet he comes back as Florida Senator by DeSantis as a replacement for Rubio. He’s already been replaced by Florida AG Pam Bondi. Even better!

  13. “The deep state isn’t a real thing.” I remember when the deep state killed the Kennedys. Everyone is about to know the truth about that and a lot more that will rock their world. And yes, I will continue to demonstrate my “cruelty” by savoring the tears of the Left who want me dead or in prison. Many people like me are still in prison for peacefully protesting an obviously rigged election. Too bad that plan backfired and now Trump will be TWO of the greatest presidents of all time. - david

    2. I would not put those in the same category as the Kennedy assassinations where they actually happened (no doubt) and there are unreleased documents that have been withheld for over 60 years. We’re all curious, and curious re what may be in those documents.

  14. I am still shocked that the Party of law and order and high moral and family values would nominate Matt Gaetz for Attorney General..he is the first but won’t be the last of these nominees to go..history repeats itself..Soreassboy

    1. Don’t believe rumours. If you do, you’re easy to manipulate.

He dropped out in favour of Pam Bondi, an even better pick! He’ll likely end up a Senator.
