In my last post (Would You Stay and Watch?) I described a hypothetical situation where a wife and her friend walk in on a husband masturbating.

I have a short story in my upcoming book on that theme. It's a bit of a common theme. It plays off of several things.

It would not be uncommon or unreasonable for a wife to extract a "no masturbation" promise from her mate. And so discovering him in the act would be that much worse with a broken promise on top of the act itself.

It plays off a more traditional and religious upbringing where children were scolded as tots for "playing with themselves". Religions consider it a sin. Children are told they can go blind from it.

Wives consider it a childish activity. Maybe younger teens sneakily engage in it, their hormones raging, not being able to control themselves. Not mature married men.
