In coaching a young lady named Sandy on how to get her boyfriend to spank her (see Sandy's Story), she revealed that when she was a young teenager she had purchased a used copy of the out-of-print spanking novel called "Ellen's Story" and compulsively masturbated to them.
She scanned some of her favourite passages to share with us. The related blog post is Sandy's Story - Ellen's Story.
Prologue
The book is set in Edwardian England in the early 1900's just before and through WW1.
This Prologue is the first part of the book that 13-year-old Sandy read in the used book store. It's an excerpt from later in the book where the heroine, Ellen, is being prepared for a caning.
Note that if you click on any of the images you get to a more full-screen view and you can scroll the pages back and forth from there.
Chapter One
The first chapter sets the stage and describes, with anecdotes, how the public spanking of young girls and even some older girls as well, was common practice. This powerfully excited Sandy, reading it furtively crouched in the bookstore. As she was there with family, she stashed the book and returned alone a few days later to buy it, at great embarrassment to her.
Chapter 3
This is Sandy's favourite episode in the book, and the one she chose to read to her boyfriend Tom after I had Tom tell her that she needed to recreate her childhood masturbation in front of him.
In this scene, Ellen and her friend Rachel attempt to save some old favourite Elms from being taken down, and wind up being humiliating spanked by and in front of the workmen.
Chapter 4
Ellen eventually meets the love of her young life in the dashing Rodney. Ellen has already discovered that she gets wildly turned on by spanking, and Rodney seems to be a man who is willing to cater to her needs. In this chapter she first meets Rodney.
Chapter 5
This carries on the story of Rodney. He learns of poor Ellen's birching at the hands of the rough workers, and being a pre-med students tells her he must examine the damage to ensure she is ok. He winds up spanking her playfully and they, very scandalously for the time, have sex!
Chapter 13
Ellen was an excellent student and in the first part of the book wound up being an assistant teacher for the little kids at the local school. However, she later on gets an opportunity to advance her education and becomes a pupil at an advanced school. She is one of very few girls in a mostly boys school.
In this episode tshe wanders into the boys' domain, delivering a package. The boys, who resent her presence, decide to have some "fun" with her and "teach her her place".
Ending
All's well that ends well. Roderick went to war and was discharged with an injury. Rodney and Ellen marry and have kids. Ellen admits that, even as a Grandma, she still gets spanked by Roderick.
This is great. And so is the diary of Rev. Francis Kilvert that is mentioned. See if you can get your hands on a copy and post some of it.
ReplyDeleteI feel cheated! I got it, but there was literally nothing more in it beyond what was quoted above!
DeleteSomewhere or other, the poet Dylan Thomas refers to a young wife of his acquaintance who was "late for school every day of her married life", meaning, I presume that she got a lot of spankings on flimsy pretexts. This Ellen seems a lot like that wife. Interesting that I seem to remember a lot of this story from my internet readings over the yyears, but not referencing this book. But still it's lovely to read it again in the context of Sandy and Tom. I'm thinking of the scene in which Sandy is buying the book, and shopkeeper, who has likely read it himself and is intimately familiar with the story, knows exactly what kind of girl is standing there before him, by her choice of reading material. Thanks for scanning it, Sandy, and thanks for posting it, Julie. - Frank
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the shop owner. To me that's the sexiest part!
DeleteIt didn't feel sexy at the time, but I did fantasize about it afterwards. Imagined he told me to follow him to the back room and then gave me a spanking. In one variation he sends me away with a sore bottom and no book, in the other he gives me the book and blesses me.
DeleteTried to find Ellen's Story on Amazon but didn't
